HOG-Spot.com exists to help share and explore Southern Nevada and it's surrounding areas. What started as a motorcycle ride with a few friends has steadily grown to include family members and other passionate riders that we have met in our travels.

$5000 for Best Hand, $2000 for 2nd Best Hand, $500 for Worst Hand (Las Vegas Harley-Davidson gift certificate).

You may ride the route in any direction you wish.

Entry fee is $30 per hand and includes a meal and an event pin (while supplies last). Additional hands are $15 each and do not include a meal or pin. You must purchase a $30 hand before any “additional” hands can be bought.

You may pre-register and pre-pay (checks to Las Vegas Harley-Davidson or cash) for your best chance to secure a pin. Sorry no credit card payments can be accepted.

    It's a Motorcycle Rodeo, of course! The motorcycle event to top all motorcycle events. And for this year, it's so much more than just a rodeo, it's a full on Rally. We've got three days of non-stop fun for all to enjoy. In addition to the rodeo events, we've got a $1000 Chili Cook Off, a run worth $5000 and another run worth $2500. There'll be bands galore, vendors with all kinds of products, motorcycle stunt shows, bonfires, BBQ's, bikini contest and more more more.

You get to do as much, or as little, as you care to. You can participate in the rodeo events, or just watch the others while you go on a run and take home a couple thousand dollars. Or, you can just come in, hang out and watch the whole thing.

  April 4 - 5, 2008 : LVMP Motorcycle Competition (click for web site)
   

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is proud to be hosting the 12th annual Southwest Police Motorcycle Training and Competition. The event is an opportunity for motor officers to compete and share training ideas. The competition is a fundraiser for Special Olympics Nevada. This event will be held at the Suncoast Hotel and Casino on April 4th and 5th, 2008. The Suncoast Hotel, 9090 Alta Drive, LV, NV 89145, will be the location for the competition, banquet and lodging.

There will be 8 hours of practice on Friday and competition will be Saturday. The competition is a timed course and will consist of several exercises with penalties assessed for touching cones, knocking over cones, touching a foot down, etc. There will also be a team event, a pair ride and slow ride competition. Awards will be given in the different events for several classes of motorcycle; Harley Davidson, BMW, Kawasaki and Honda.

Each competitor will receive one ticket to the banquet with a paid entry of $50.00. Additional tickets may be purchased for $25.00 each. The hotel and held a block of rooms for our guests. The room rates are $50.00 for Thursday and $110.00 for Friday and Saturday. The block of rooms will be held until March 4th, 2008. Reservations can be made by calling 1-866-636-7111 and mentioning the Southwest Police Motorcycle Competition to receive the group rate.

The application, liability waiver, bio sheet, rules and cone patterns will be available on this web site. Checks should be made out to “Friends of Metro” and mailed to LVMPD Traffic, Attention: Officer Jerry Pribyl, 2300 E. St. Louis Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89104.     As the 2008 riding season gets into full swing here in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Chapter of Star Touring and Riding, Chapter 276, wanted to let you know and ask for your support in our up-coming Poker Run. This will be our 3rd Annual Poker Run. We feel we have learned a lot from our past events and have really pulled out all the stops for this one. We are looking to put ourselves on the map with this year’s event and are giving away $500 for the High Hand and $150 for the Low Hand.

The Poker Run is scheduled for June 14th. We will be starting at the Hot Rod Grille located on 1231 American Pacific Dr, Henderson NV 89074. Registration is from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM with a cost of $20 per rider $10 per passenger. There will be fliers around town as well. We have what we think is a great event planned with a great loop of the city. At the finish you'll find food, free water and soda, a bikini bike wash, 50/50, raffle prizes and more!

    The 2008 Family, Fur & Fun Festival Bike Run is scheduled for September 13, 2008. Registration will begin at 9:30am at Arlen Ness Motorcycles of Las Vegas, and stops will include Las Vegas Harley, Three Tomatoes & a Mozzarella, Complete Cycle Repair, the Red Rock loop, and Ride Now Powersports on Rancho. The ride will also include a tour of the Nevada SPCA and end with festivities at Hogs and Heifers.

    Join hundreds of other motorcyclists for a scenic ride through the Nevada countryside. You’ll have a great time while raising funds for the PBTF's medical research and family support programs! Riders on all makes and models are welcome.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:45. The police-escorted ride starts at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine!

The ride ends in Blue Diamond. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraiser's and distribution of premiums will follow.
